The Johannus Factory

In Ede, in the woody center of Holland, a very special company is located: Johannus Orgelbouw, the well-known manufacturer of classical home and church organs.

It is not a coincidence that one of the world's greatest builders of digital church organs is to be found in the Netherlands; organ building and Dutch history are closely interwoven.

In the last few years Johannus Orgelbouw has developed into a international company whose organs are being exported to over 80 countries. This has been achieved with the help of our team of 50 highly skilled people.

2009 is an important year for Johannus. The fact that Johannus has been around for 41 years (1968) is certainly cause for celebration. We are proud of this milestone, for over the years we have succeeded in growing into one of the largest organ producers in the world. To keep up with this challenge we have even decided to have new premises built this year. This will enable our company to keep expanding to meet the increasing demand for our products.

Vision

In recent years we have become a serious player in a market where previously the traditional organ builder was the absolute ruler. Times have now changed. An increasing number of churches are now looking into the possibility of a digital organ, or a combination of a pipe organ and a Johannus organ. Our Monarke organs score particularly high where sound quality is concerned. We are therefore expecting continuous growth during the years ahead. 

We are passionate organ builders. This passion is passed down from father to son. This has created a family company. One which isn’t purely focused on figures. Words like dedication and stewardship truly come to life: a life full of Music. We would like to wish you a great deal of musical happiness.
