As a leader in the classical music field for nearly a decade, Pro Studio Music has built an enviable reputation for service excellence and has assembled a top-of-the-range product catalogue. With items ranging from pianos to organs, fine violins to cellos, trumpets to flutes and sheet music to music theory, Pro Studio is a leader in the classical music industry. The Pro Studio promise of quality, competitiveness and service excellence has remained unchanged over the years and will remain our core focus for clients around South Africa. The products stocked are of the highest quality with the best after-sales service and support available in the market today. Pro Studio has recently launched a new showroom at the Greenlyn Village Centre in Menlo Park, Pretoria where the magnificent instruments on display can be played and experienced in a comfortable, upmarket environment. The superb location of Gauteng’s only dedicated classical music shop means that clients now have the option of seeing a classical concert at the adjacent Brooklyn Theatre and satisfying their musical shopping needs at Pro Studio. Pro Studio was officially launched in 2004 with the aim to supply and support organists, choir directors, music directors and churches with a variety of local and imported sheet music, CDs and DVDs. Soon afterwards Pro Studio expanded to include the supply of musicians and DJs for weddings and other functions. We have already provided music for more than 800 events. In 2006 Pro Studio was awarded an exclusive contract from the Johannus Organ Company in The Netherlands as an authorised dealer for South Africa. Johannus Orgelbouwis one of the biggest suppliers of church organs in South Africa with many organs in service across Africa and remains one of the market leaders in church organs worldwide.
Pro Studio has established itself as the largest supplier of church sheet music in South Africa providing 19 denominations with music supplies and other related services. Jacques Meyer joined Pro Studio in 2007 to head up finance. Jacques is also Marketing Manager at Southern Sun Hotels based at their head office in Fourways, Johannesburg. Jacques brings with him a wealth of knowledge accumulated during his career at industry-leading companies such as the Sandton Convention Centre, Intercontinental Hotel Group, Hilton Hotel Corporation and Protea Hotels. In January 2008, Eon took on an 18 month contract at the Hilton Hotel Corporation in Sandton to consult on their massive global rebranding program. Eon was involved at all levels of the organisation and lead the marketing department during this transitional period to get all systems and processes in place. Building on this success, Pro Studio has successfully launched a custom picture-framing division handling professional framing for all industries, including archival quality for historical institutions. Eon has been certified by the South African Professional Picture Framers Association and has carried out many important projects in recent years.
Pro Studio is the exclusive supplier of Johannus and Rodgers organs to Salon Music and the Brooklyn Theatre in Pretoria building on the long-standing relationship Pro Studio has had with Salon Music. In 2011 Pro Studio proudly announces the re-introduction of Rodgers organs in South Africa. Pro Studio has been awarded the exclusive agency to supply Rodgers organs in South Africa providing some much needed variety in American-style organs and finally giving South African organists the option to choose the best quality in American sound engineering. This is yet another endorsement of the commitment shown by Pro Studio to the future of church and classic music in South Africa.
